We accept payment by cash, cheques with a personal guarantee card, and most major credit & debit cards except American Express.
Please note if you choose to settle your account by credit card, non-UK cards and cash cards, we do however seek to pass on the processing charges we incur when accepting payment by card and reserve the right to add 2% administration charge to the total cost of your stay.
In the event of any breakages, damage, loss or exceptional cleaning required after the room is vacated, we will notify the guest making the reservation within 48 hours of any costs incurred and will charge this payment to your credit card.
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS
Normally your credit or debit card details will be requested to secure your room reservation. If a card is unavailable we request a cheque for the full cost of the first nights stay. No booking is confirmed unless a deposit has been paid or credit/debit card details received
No charge will be made against your account unless:-
You cancel your reservation within 14 days before arrival date, or
You subsequently amend your booking by shortening your stay. - we reserve the right to charge your card account with the cost of any financial loss we incur, up to a maximum of the total cost of your stay.
Please note we will make every effort to minimise your liability by trying to re-let the accommodation
Our cancellation policy is designed to inform our guests in advance of charges that will apply should their plans change and their booking needs to be cancelled. For their own peace of mind, guests are advised to take out their own travel insurance in case they have to cancel.
CANCELLATION BY US
If we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control we will endeavour to offer you alternative comparable accommodation at no extra cost to you. Should we not be able to provide suitable alternative accommodation, we will reimburse any sums already paid by you. We will be under no further obligation or liability for any losses or expense arising from the cancellation.
There are no further circumstances for which we will be liable for a refund.
We reserve the right to cancel any letting should you or any member of your party cause damage to the property, its furniture or contents or should you create a disturbance to any adjoining rooms or neighbours.
NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
The number of people staying must not exceed the maximum number agreed at the time of booking for each room. If we become aware that the number of people staying exceeds the maximum number, we reserve the right to ask the entire party to vacate the premises. In these circumstances, there will be no refund for unused days.
A charge of £25 will be made towards the cost of replacement for each set of lost keys.
DOGS STAYING IN OUR GARDEN ROOM CHAWTON
Only assist dogs are permitted in the breakfast room. Other than at breakfast time we ask that pets are not left on their own in the Garden room during the day and at night. Owners are requested to ensure that the garden is left clean. We do supply a limited number of plastic bags, which can be deposited in the Brown Bin.
